Step-by-Step Installation InstructionsStep 1
Download the 123D Design installer file by clicking on the download link above, and saving it to your hard drive (e.g. Downloads folder)
The file is approximately 370 MB and will take several minutes to complete.
Once downloading is complete, double click on the file called "123D_Design_R2.2_WIN64_2.2.14" or "123D_Design_R2.2_WIN32_2.2.14" depending on whether you chose to download the 32-bit or 64-bit version of 123D Design. You can find out which version to use by going to Control Panel > System and Security > System and looking under "System type."
You will then see a prompt asking if you would like to allow the file to make changes to your device. Click Yes to proceed.
Read and accept the licensing agreements for Autodesk 123D Design.
After accepting the licensing agreement, click "Install" to commence the installation of Autodesk 123D Design.
Wait for the installation of Autodesk 123D Design to complete. This process will require several minutes.
Once your installation is complete, you will see the following screen. Click "Done" and you can now launch Autodesk 123D Design!
Look for the Autodesk 123D Design icon in the start menu and start making 3D models!

This download is completely safe as it is the unaltered, original installation file that was released by Autodesk. The download button links to archive.org, which continues to host the original installation file that was released by Autodesk before it was discontinued. How can you be absolutely sure? After downloading the file, right click on the icon and click on properties. Go to the Digital Signatures tab and you will be able to verify that this file is indeed the original file released by the software publisher (i.e. Autodesk Inc) and not altered by a third party.
Click into the details tab and you will see additional information confirming that the publisher is indeed Autodesk, Inc. If you find any files that do not show Autodesk as the publisher, DO NOT INSTALL the file as it is not the original.
